1st Delivery [Action]

[It wasn't all that long ago that Kiki was out flying on her broom, soaring over Koriko and breathing a huge sigh of relief. Everything had finally decided to work out and things seemed to be on the up! However, when Kiki next finds herself sitting in the dark she can't help but feel as though everything suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Around midday it might be possible to hear a strange, muffled noise coming from the inside of your kitchen cupboards. Or maybe a wardrobe instead. It's clear that there's something moving around inside, and if you listen closely you can hear the sound of young witch as she tries to figure out what exactly is going on. Before too long the doors fly open and Kiki rolls out with a shriek, causing all sorts of mess in the process. It seems as though she ended up tugging on one of her wings, causing her to flinch and fall out of the cupboard she found herself in. Should there be no one home when Kiki escapes from the cupboard she found herself in then she'll be curiously looking around the house she woke up in, trying to figure out where these wings came from and why she's now wearing a white dress as opposed to her usual, dark coloured outfit.]

[Later on in the afternoon, when she's not busy bursting out of cupboards and snooping around houses, Kiki can be spotted crossing the plaza as she heads to retrieve her belongings. She has a map from the welcome center in one hand and her journal in the other. Between reading through the many entries and the guide in the journal and looking over the map she has her hands pretty full, but she'll be carrying even more before long. After visiting the item shop and the grocery, Kiki has managed to pile some food, cleaning supplies, her journal and her map into a bag which she's supporting with two hands to make sure it doesn't rip open at all. She's also attempting to carry a broom she picked up at the same time, trapping it in between her arms and the bags she's carrying. With her haul of items, Kiki makes her way slowly back towards the welcome center. She plans to stay there for a few days while she decides which community building she should move into. Picking a room that looks out over the ocean doesn't seem to be an option, but perhaps she can find one that offers the best view of the village instead.]

[It's not easy to miss a girl carrying bags and bags of supplies through the plaza, nor it is very easy to do just that, from the looks of it. So, Crys jogs over to Kiki, stopping just next to her with a friendly smile on her face.] Do you want some help carrying all of those?

[As she wasn't expecting any help out of the blue like this, Kiki almost looks shocked as she replies.]

Oh, yes, some help would be great right now. But are you sure it's not too much trouble?

[She can manage carrying everything herself really, but it would certainly be faster if she shared the load with someone else. What would you like to take, Crys? The broom or the bag?]

It's no trouble at all, really. [She takes a minute to decide before grabbing the bag, shifting its weight a little so it's easier to carry.] Did you just get here?

If you're really sure, thank you very much. [Phew, that's much better. Kiki takes the broom in both hands now, keeping a tight hold of it.] Yes, I arrived just this morning.

[She gives Crys a nod and a smile before- Oh wait, yes, introductions.] My name is Kiki and I'm a witch. It's nice to meet you.

Welcome to Luceti, Kiki. My name is Crystal. [But wow, a witch? That's new. It honestly leaves her a little surprised.]

You mean like the kind who fly on brooms and make spells?

[Kiki may spot Aang just as he's entering the Welcome Center! Specifically he took his glider there. As he lands, he retracts the glider into staff form and then steps straight into the Welcome Center's front doors, not yet noticing Kiki.]

[Oh look, someone else who can fly! Kiki can't help but think how Tombo might react to seeing a staff like that, he would probably be all over it in seconds. Then again, even she's finding a staff like that to seem quite impressive.

Kiki tries to hurry forward to catch Aang before he goes inside, but with all she's carrying she isn't getting very far. Instead she opts to call out to him.]

Excuse me! Can you hold the door open for a second, please?

Sure!

[He turns with a friendly smile and holds the door open. Wow, she has some load there.]

Thank you!

[She shuffles inside and places her bags down on the floor, clear of the door. Phew, maybe it would have been easier to have made two trips instead. Her haul of food and supplies dealt with, Kiki wipes her forehead with her hand and gives Aang a nod.]

Sorry about that, it would have been a hassle to get through when I'm already carrying so much.

That's a lot of stuff! If you need helping getting that around, I'd be glad to. [Thoughtful pause.] Are you new here?

[ The explosion of silverware from Tenten's room has her running to the kitchen. Armed with a giant knife, she waits and... immediately drops her weapon when she sees it's just a confused new feather.

Tenten's voice rings with some sort of annoyance. ]


This time of the year again? Damn it! They've really been showing up everywhere lately. [ Her house is never safe no matter how locked it gets!!!! Anyways, she'll turn her attention back to Kiki. ] Are you okay?

[Oh yes, she's just fine. Or she was until she looked up and realised someone was coming towards her with a knife in their hands! She was already worried and confused enough about waking up in a cupboard and finding wings on her back without this happening.

Even after the knife is dropped, Kiki shrieks and pushes back along the floor with her legs until she's practically getting back into the cupboard she just rolled out of. Sorry Tenten!]

I'm- Ah-- You're not going to hurt me, are you?!

[ Tenten kicks the knife away. It clinks and lands somewhere in the living room. Tenten's almost freaking out here. This girl's first impression of Luceti is that doors are cupboards and that people with knives wait for people to come out. ]

N-no! Not at all! I thought you were a dangerous intruder at first but you seem kinda harmless. [ Operative word being kinda. You never know what lurks behind sweet smiles in Luceti. ]

[Kind of harmless? She's perfectly harmless! ... But considering someone just came at her with a knife, maybe it's better that she remains 'kinda harmless' for now.

Kiki heaves a large sigh of relief, still sitting on the floor with a hand over her chest.]

I felt as though my heart was going to jump out of my throat, it was beating so fast! [Phew... Ahem.] I don't know how I came to intrude on you or your home, but I really didn't mean to. And I certainly don't know how I ended up inside your cupboard like that either.

[ Tenten's face looks overcome with worry and an expression that is best described as the phrase, "good grief you've got to be kidding me". ]

It's okay. You're in a place called Luceti and they kidnap you from your world and put you in strange places. I woke up in a wall of a grocery store with a bunch of turkeys, so, at least you aren't that far off. You also have wings now, in case you didn't notice.

[This is...new. And different. Norma wasn't expecting to hear muffled noises and banging coming from the cupboards right before breakfast - it's never happened before! Thinking it some kind of animal or other Luceti shenanigan, Norma quickly fetches a frying pan (for self-defense!!) from the stove top and edges warily toward the cupboard. She reaches out for the knob...!]

[Norma better watch her hand, as the door soon flies open with a shriek! Having curiously pulled on one of her wings, realising just how sensitive they are in doing so, Kiki flinches and slips out of the cupboard. If Norma doesn't back out of the way soon then there's going to be a young witch colliding with her legs!]

[Oh, but such actions would require Norma to actually have good reflexes or a decent reaction time. As it stands, the moment Kiki comes tumbling out of the cupboard and into her legs, poor Norma lets out a shriek and tumbles down with her, right onto her rump. At the very least, the frying pan she was holding earlier is dropped, and cannot be used as a blunt object/weapon!]

[Oh good, Kiki feels a lot better about crashing into Norma now that she knows she isn't going to be smacked by a frying pan! Except she doesn't. At all. One moment she's falling forward and the next there's an almighty clatter as something hits the floor and she collides with someone in front of her. She would rather crash into a tree on her broom any day of the week than have to go through an ordeal like this again.

With all the shrieking, falling over and pan dropping out of the way, Kiki slowly pushes herself off of Norma and looks around. This isn't- Wait, did she just knock someone over?]

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry! Are you alright ma'am!?

[Norma is seeing stars, and gasping softly for breath. Knocking her head on the ground is one thing, but collapsing backwards onto her wings is a whole other story entirely. It feels like the wind just got knocked out of her and small tears dew at the corners of her eyes from the pain. Oooh...she's already starting to wish she still had that frying pan, just for some sweet payback.

Give her minute to reply, and catch her breath, really. Oh, and contemplate how much trouble she'll be in if she does follow through with her frying pan idea.]

Action; time for shopping, witcheeeesss~

[Guess who's also on an errand today, Kiki?

This little boy. Only about eleven years old! Henry was just entering the plaza now to go to the grocery store when he see's the girl with the mounds of bags she has.

Henry has already got a feeling that she may be a new person, because for one, she was at least around his age, and most kids went to the school if that were the case. Since he's never seen her before at school he checks this off as a new feather.

So, like all good people, Henry approaches her.]

Hey, do you need a hand? You look like you have a lot to carry.

Action; shopping is always more fun with witches

[Kiki shifts her bag and broom around so she can at least see who is talking to her. She's honestly a little surprised to see someone younger than her, if only by a year or so, offering to help her out. The last time she spoke with someone younger than herself it was during her first delivery back home and, well... That young boy was lacking a little in the manners department.]

Yeah, it is a lot. I guess I went a little overboard for my first shopping trip here. [But oh well, there's not much she can do about it now.] Are you sure you want to help? I'm used to carrying much heavier things than this, really, so if it's too much trouble you don't need to worry.

Action; I'm so sorr for not responding sooner, I was dealing with a lot of life issues

[Henry has plenty of manners. When he wants to that is. If not, he usually is just sassy.]

No, it's okay. I'm fine with helping.

[And before he lets her try and convince him otherwise, he takes one of the bags from her, ensuring the others don't go spilling from her arms.]

[Looks like she doesn't have much choice in this matter. Hmph. Kiki nods her head in the direction she's intending to go.]

Over there, to the Welcome Center. It's where I'm staying until I can figure out which building I want to move in to.

Oh, so you're new here? Well, my name's Henry. What's yours?

[And they can walk and talk, right? So he'll start moving in the direction of the Welcome center.]
